Our Volunteer Respite Program strengthens families with children who have special needs by giving the parents or caregivers a much-needed break on a regular basis. Volunteers help care for children during large respite events.Respite events include a full day of fun activities. One or two volunteers are matched with a child to provide one-on-one quality care. Nursing staff are on-hand for all toileting and medical needs. Seniors Bailey's place provides social stimulation, engagement and fun activities to allow primary caregivers a short break.Young Adults Caregivers need time to re-energize! Take a walk or have lunch with a friend during one of our events. Children Respite events give parents and primary caregivers a short break to refresh and recharge.
